Job Summary
Customer Service Representative for Pendleton Sanitary Service (Waste Connections) handling inbound calls in a fast-paced office setting, assisting with service inquiries, account updates, payments, and work-order creation. Responsibilities include front-desk coverage, data entry into proprietary systems, updating customer profiles (pricing, addresses, routing, containers), handling in-person and phone communications, using MS Word/Excel, promoting additional services, and collaborating with operations and maintenance to resolve issues. Must be fluent in English and Spanish, with a preference for high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of customer service experience; ability to work in a high-volume environment and perform accurate data entry, reports, and multitasking. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, starting pay $21.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of Customer Service experience
- High volume call center experience a plus
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and email preferred
- Typing and 10-key skills are required
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
