Job Summary
Customer Service Representative responsibilities include researching and responding to inquiries and issues concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc., in a courteous, professional and efficient manner; inputting customer orders into the computer system and generating related paperwork; ensuring proper invoicing; acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer regarding invoicing and collection concerns; maintaining procedures manuals; reporting customer feedback to management; answering telephone calls and operating office machines; creating accurate and timely reports; maintaining paperwork associated with orders and customer files. Additional duties include on-the-job training for new hires, assisting in accounts receivable collections, generating customer thank you letters, and striving for continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 years experience in general office environment, preferred
- Willingness to learn internal customer service software applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Must be computer literate, ability to type 30wpm and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work efficiently with a professional, customer friendly attitude
