Job Summary
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. Move and hook up trucks and trailers, then clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels. Answer customer questions, educate them on services, and prepare rental invoices while accepting returned equipment. Install hitches and trailer wiring, fill propane, and operate a forklift with certification provided upon employment. Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University. This role offers on-the-job education, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 cash bonus upon completing the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to move equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to move around indoors and outdoors
