Job Summary
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services using smartphone-based U-Scan technology. Move and hook up trucks and trailers, then clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels. Answer questions regarding products and services, prepare rental invoices, and accept returned equipment. Install hitches and trailer wiring, fill propane, and operate a forklift. This role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to handle physical exertion moving equipment up to 50 lbs. You will participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields
- Must not use nicotine products
