Job Summary
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services while using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. Move, hook up, clean, and inspect trucks and trailers on the lot, including checking fluid levels and installing hitches. Answer customer questions, prepare rental invoices, and accept equipment returns. Obtain certification to fill propane, drive a forklift, and participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to maintain a good driving record, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to work around moving parts or machines
- Must be able to work around fumes or irritant chemicals
- Must be able to wear protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields
- Must be able to remain stationary for long periods
- Must be able to move around indoors and outdoors
- Must be able to position oneself to reach objects at varying heights
- Must be able to move equipment
- Must not use nicotine products
