Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at U-Haul; responsibilities include assisting customers with U-Haul products/services, using U-Scan technology to manage rentals/inventory, moving and hooking up trucks/trailers, inspecting equipment, answering questions, preparing rental invoices, installing hitches/trailer wiring, filling propane, operating a forklift (certifications offered), and participating in ongoing education through U-Haul University. Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license and high school diploma or equivalent. The role is based in Hendersonville, NC and requires in-person work. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to move and inspect equipment, lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with using technology to manage equipment or rentals
- Ability to perform duties including installing hitches, trailer wiring, and propane filling (certifications offered upon employment)
- Willingness to participate in continuing education through U-Haul University
