Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at U-Haul in Knoxville, responsible for assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, using U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, moving and hooking up trucks and trailers, cleaning and inspecting equipment, preparing invoices, installing hitches and trailer wiring, filling propane (certification offered upon employment), and participating in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University; position includes a $100 hiring bonus and $300 cash bonus upon certification, with a full benefits package and potential advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license or ability to maintain a good driving record
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Forklift certification offered through U-Haul upon employment
- Propane fill certification offered through U-Haul upon employment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University
