Job Summary
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services, including managing rentals and inventory using U-Scan technology; move and hook up trucks and trailers; inspect and maintain equipment; answer questions and educate customers on offerings; prepare rental invoices and process returns; participate in ongoing training via U-Haul University; opportunities for certifications (forklift, propane) are available and may be offered upon employment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move equipment (e.g., 50 lbs)
- Comfort with using technology to dispatch and manage rentals
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training (U-Haul University)
- Certification opportunities for forklift operation and propane filling
