Job Summary
Customer Service Representative III provides courteous inside sales and customer service by handling inquiries about service, deliveries and invoicing; takes orders via phone, fax, email, and web-based systems and performs order entry. Responsibilities include researching pricing and delivery, ensuring complete documentation (including letters of credit and shipping/freight requirements), processing returns, resolving issues with accounting for customer satisfaction, monitoring order/backorder reports, setting up new customer accounts, and maintaining data in databases and spreadsheets. Collaboration with Sales Account Managers and other departments to service customer needs is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree or specialized courses in related field
- Minimum of three years of progressive customer service/sales experience
- Experience with order entry systems
- Knowledge of pricing, delivery, and invoicing processes
- Experience with industrial safety commodities and/or rental equipment
- Strong data entry and data integrity skills
- Ability to coordinate with Sales Account Managers and other departments
