Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for interacting with customers and internal teams to provide information regarding inquiries and complaints about products and services. Major responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, processing orders, tracking shipments, managing inventory, and resolving quality issues. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in various computer applications. A minimum high school diploma is required, with a preference for an associate's degree. The position requires the ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and extended periods of standing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing environment or inventory control preferred.
- Highly organized and pays close attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to be assertive and resourceful in problem solving.
- Ability and willingness to communicate effectively with people of various technical levels.
- Proficiency with a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM system.
- Ability and willingness to develop a working knowledge of Tosoh’s products and product lines.
- Bi-lingual in English and Korean or Mandarin highly valued.
