Job Summary
Be the face of toll collection operations at Parkersburg Memorial Bridge by assisting customers with new account setup, payment processing, and inquiries regarding toll activities and complaints. Process payments using back-office systems, manage in-person walk-up inquiries, and resolve issues via incoming phone calls. Complete end-of-day deposits and balancing reports while collaborating with team members to improve overall customer experience. This entry-level, on-site role requires adherence to attendance schedules, including potential weekend shifts, and involves cash handling on computerized systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with data-entry utilizing a computer
- The ability to read and speak English fluently
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work shifts that will likely include weekends
- Cash handling experience on a computerized system
- The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
- An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation
- Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
- Strong team orientation and customer focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
