Job Summary
Accurately enter customer orders into the ERP system, verify pricing and availability, and generate order confirmations. Review orders for completeness, resolve discrepancies and backorders, and respond to customer questions with timely updates. Coordinate with sales, operations, warehouse, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure smooth fulfillment and track shipments. Investigate special requests and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work on-site in Downlers Grove, IL, with an 8:00am to 4:00pm schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and high-accuracy data entry skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working under pressure
- College degree
- 3+ years of customer service or order management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort using AI tools to automate routine tasks, improve data accuracy, and support faster, more effective decision-making
- High-volume order entry in ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.)
- Working with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve shipment or inventory issues
- Creating order confirmations, BOLs, and shipping documentation
