Job Summary
Process retail and commercial deposits, cash checks, and withdrawals while verifying documents and resolving account activity issues. Operate terminals to manage balances, issue cashier's checks, and handle safe deposit duties. Assist with night depository operations, including logging, bagging, and making change orders. Answer telephones, direct callers, and process stop payments, hold orders, and loan payments. Balance cash drawers daily, verify vault currency, and prepare wire transfers or reports as required. Maintain records, scan documents, and cross-sell bank products.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have the ability to work in a professional and confidential manner
- Basic ten-key skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Professional verbal communication skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to consistently be at work during scheduled shifts
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary
- Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation
- Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level
- Must be able to sit; use hands in repetitive motions to finger, grasp, handle or feel; and talk or hear
- Must be occasionally required to: stand; walk; and lift or reach with hands and arms
- Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
