Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering prompt, courteous service to customers in convenience store operations. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, providing information on products and services, handling cash and transactions using a POS system, and maintaining store cleanliness. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ideal candidates should enjoy customer interactions and be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Minimum of 18 years of age required due to equipment and/or fuel handling responsibilities (where applicable)
- Ability to pass any legally required certifications for selling restricted items
- Must meet all required certification and regulatory compliance standards applicable to the role, as defined by federal, state, and local laws
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
