Job Summary
Serve as first point of contact for patients, medical professionals, and family members; assess customer needs, triage calls, enroll new customers to Patient Services, and record activities in the patient database to ensure patient needs are met. Work within a multidisciplinary team to explain services, coordinate with physician offices and pharmacies, and complete special projects as required. Requires experience in specialty pharmacy or customer service, strong computer/CRM skills (Salesforce preferred), ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, and excellent judgment in delivering customer service. Onsite availability is required, with hybrid/remote opportunities potentially considered after requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Previous work experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service
- Professional level skills in computer use, including Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications and keyboarding
- Experience working with people in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations (telephone or face-to-face) and solving problems with customer service skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and strong time management skills
- Ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Dependable and strong work ethic
- Experience with databases (CRM preferable) or a tracking system; Salesforce CRM experience
- Experience working in a health care/pharmaceutical industry environment
- Understanding of challenges associated with patients’ medical condition
