Job Summary
Customer Service Representative supporting John Crane Canada customers with purchases and repairs of mechanical seals. Responsibilities include interacting with customers via telephone, fax, and email; researching and providing price quotations; initiating and entering orders by interpreting customer requirements and drawings to compile bill of materials; coordinating with Engineering, Purchasing, Assembly, Manufacturing and Invoicing to discuss orders; managing complete order delivery commitments and addressing delays; identifying returned materials and assisting walk-in customers; maintaining reference files for procedures, product lists, pricing, quotes and other data; and performing additional duties as required. Bilingual in French and English with strong communication and computer skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Education/Training: Mechanical Technologist/Technician College or High School Diploma
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of customer service-related experience in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge/Skills: Ability to read detailed drawings and utilize measuring instruments
- Knowledge/Skills: Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge/Skills: Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge/Skills: Must be bilingual in French and English
