Job Summary
Customer Service Representative will be the main point of contact for customers regarding delivery and order status, providing information, support, and problem resolution for inquiries and orders. Responsibilities include proactive communication about production lead-times, determining appropriate transportation modes, reviewing daily demand and deviations, notifying internal teams and customers about supply risks, resolving customer concerns/claims, performing manual order entry within required timelines, identifying inventory opportunities to expedite orders, investigating root causes of short-payments, and coordinating with planning and logistics to meet customer needs. The role requires strong verbal and written communication, organization and time-management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Also emphasizes collaboration with production, planning, logistics, and business functions to deliver customer order requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
