Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at Sealing Devices provides expert product knowledge, pricing, and support to customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include answering questions about products, pricing, applications, and credit terms; creating accurate quotes and bids for components used in aerospace, defense, and government environments; taking orders via phone, email, fax, or in person; maintaining relationships with customers and vendors; providing post-sale support; maintaining accurate records in Oracle and internal systems; traveling to the Buffalo Office 10-15% annually; reading blueprints to support quoting and recommendations; sharing customer feedback with product/design teams; upholding quality and safety standards within the Quality System; and continuously learning about new products and technologies to make informed recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school) required
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role
- Able to read and understand blueprints to support accurate quoting and recommendations
- Ability to travel 10-15% to our Buffalo Office on an annual basis
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel in a day-to-day work environment
