Role emphasizes technical product knowledge, accurate quoting, knowledgeable pricing, and maintaining records in Oracle while collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and post-sale service. Must read blueprints for accurate quoting, communicate clearly across channels, and uphold quality standards in a fabrication and distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school)
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel in a day-to-day work environment
- Experience with systems like Lotus Notes or Oracle is helpful
- Ability to read and understand blueprints to support accurate quoting and recommendations
- Positive attitude and strong follow-through
- Problem solver mindset
- Willingness to travel periodically to supplier sites or carrier facilities as needed
- Ability to work in both office and production environments
