Job Summary
Perform janitorial duties and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas by operating motorized cleaning equipment and using proper personal protective equipment. Report incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor while complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items. Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, co-workers, and customers. Work Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., depending on the week, earning $20.60–$21.60 per hour. A valid driver's license and forklift certification may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- US Citizens or Permanent Resident
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months training or experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
