Job Summary

Provide excellent frontline customer service and clerical support for SCIC programs, including data capture into databases, processing customer contracts, and supporting program verification and benefits. Duties include answering customer questions via the provincial virtual contact centre, toll-free lines, walk-ins, and emails; preparing financial information for verification files; assisting with Crop Insurance and AgriStability processes; handling correspondence, reports, and filing; and contributing to sales of the Crop Insurance program. Requires grade 12 and at least one year of frontline customer service experience, strong communication, multitasking, and computer proficiency; entitles mentorship of less experienced CSO staff and adherence to confidentiality and equity commitments. A criminal record check is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma
  • minimum one-year experience providing frontline customer service
  • Knowledge of Saskatchewan agriculture
  • Communication skills to effectively share information, listen actively, and respond empathetically
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple workflows and provide timely follow-up
  • Mathematical skills to perform simple calculations
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Criminal record check required
