Job Summary
Customer Service Representative role focused on remote handling of electric and gas service inquiries. Responsibilities include answering inbound calls, educating customers on billing details and payment options, providing accurate information and solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction, prioritizing first-call resolution, identifying opportunities for additional services or upgrades, managing customer accounts (updates to personal information and services), documenting interactions in the call-tracking system, handling all customer calls professionally under pressure to meet deadlines and performance goals, and performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications require a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience (call center experience preferred). Strong written and verbal communication, empathy, ability to maintain confidentiality, adaptability to changes, research skills, punctuality, and a quiet, dedicated home office with reliable internet (minimum download 10 Mbps, upload 5 Mbps) are expected. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 1 year of customer service experience is required
- 1 year of call center experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to project and convey a positive, concerned, and professional image to customers
- Ability to be adaptable and quickly adjust to change
- Must be able to conduct research efficiently and effectively while working within specific time constraints

- Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality in dealing with customer information
- Must be able to provide quality customer service and able to work with difficult customers on occasion, while still maintaining a strict level of professionalism
