Job Summary
Register patients efficiently by working across multiple computer systems, answering phones, and gathering accurate information quickly. Assist ill, anxious, or confused patients by navigating diverse insurance plans and building trust during stressful moments. Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams while balancing speed with compassion in a fast-paced environment. This role requires rotating 12-hour night shifts including weekends and holidays. No healthcare background is needed; comprehensive training covers insurance basics and hospital workflows.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements
- Must be available for nights - 7:00 PM-7:30 AM shifts
- Must work 3, 12-hour shifts per week
- Must work rotating days including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work across multiple computer systems
- Must be able to answer phones
- Must be able to gather information quickly and accurately
- Must be able to navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details
