Job Summary

Confer with customers by telephone, fax or email to provide information about products and services, shipping dates or delays and to take, enter or update orders. Supports requests from sales team via CRM/email to phone for customers. Use tools within MDG and SAP to fully set up business partners for use within the order system. Issue quotes on available products and process POs once received. Determine and communicate pricing components, compute price/discounts, and gather data for final invoices. Coordinate with planning, quality control or logistics to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments. Receive customer material complaints and relay information to Quality Assurance for investigation. Review and audit orders daily to verify information as requested by the customer. A strong emphasis on interpersonal communication, organizational skills, teamwork, multitasking, and problem solving, along with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, and familiarity with ISO standards, are valued for this role at Heraeus.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in a customer service or quality control role
