Job Summary

Act as first point of contact with patients by evaluating the purpose of the call, triaging the calls, enrolling new customers to Patient Solutions, recording activities in the patient database, and following up to secure services. Responsibilities include data entry of incoming documents, understanding and recording adverse events, and performing special projects as assigned. Requires effective oral and written communication, strong customer service skills, adaptability, confidentiality, and the ability to coordinate with physicians’ offices, pharmacies, and other external entities to meet patient needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Some college preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service/call center setting preferred
  • Medical Insurance knowledge is preferred
