Job Summary
Act as first point of contact with patients by carefully evaluating the purpose of the call, prioritizing their handling, and triaging the calls; enroll new customers to Patient Solutions; record activities in the patient database and follow up to secure services; data entry of incoming documents; understand adverse events and identify/record them; complete various special projects; maintain knowledge of Patient Solutions initiatives and communicate them to customers; perform cross-training within the call center; required MS Office skills; strong interpersonal and communication abilities; confidentiality and professional conduct in interactions with patients, physicians, and pharmacists.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Some college preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service/call center setting preferred
- Medical Insurance knowledge is preferred
