Job Summary
Handle incoming and outgoing calls for reservations, rate quotes, and customer inquiries while providing information and resolution. Meet and greet customers face-to-face to assess rental needs, provide directions, and assist with check-ins, returns, and exit kiosk transactions. Process billing, manage accounts receivable, and perform administrative tasks including research, key logs, and miscellaneous reports. Assist with vehicle condition assessments, cleaning, and notifying management of maintenance issues. May sell optional protection products, upgrades, and fuel options. Work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm with occasional Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm at the Nanaimo branch.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Some college
- 1 year of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support
- Valid British Columbia Full Class 5 drivers license
- No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm
- Ability to work Occasional Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm
- At least 18 years of age
