Job Summary
Provide frontline customer service across Milton and Balclutha clinics, manage retail and inventory, schedule production animal and companion animal consultations and surgeries, assist vets and technicians with administrative tasks, engage with the local farming community, contribute to marketing and clinic events, and uphold Health & Safety as the clinic’s Health & Safety Representative and Fire Warden; collaborate with the Clinic Coordinator and clinical teams to ensure a welcoming, well-running operation and a positive client experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- A passion for rural NZ communities and knowledge of the farming industry
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in agri-retail or agri-business is an advantage but not essential if you’re keen to learn and bring a great attitude.
