Job Summary
Temporary/Seasonal Customer Service Representative supporting educational financing at Ascent. Responsibilities include answering inbound FAQs, making follow-up outbound calls, responding to emails and live chat, documenting interactions in CRM, following compliance and information-security guidelines, and guiding prospective borrowers through loan options. Role involves collaboration with Loan Operations, data-entry and administrative tasks, and ensuring customer records are maintained. Hybrid work schedule with in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior call center customer service experience is a plus
- Must be competent in the use of MS Excel
- Effective communicator (oral and written)
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with upbeat attitude
- Team player committed to helping others succeed
