Job Summary

The Loan Consultant I provides exceptional customer experience while offering personal loan solutions, focusing on building a customer base through sales, loan extensions, and merchant referrals. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting individuals in person and by phone, processing credit and employment verifications, handling payments and loan closings, managing account activities (including collections), preparing reports and documentation, operating a cash drawer, and actively marketing branch products and services. Requires strong cash handling, computer and communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree and bilingual Spanish/English capabilities.
