Job Summary
The Loan Consultant I provides exceptional customer experience while delivering personal loan solutions. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers in person and by phone, handling credit and employment verifications, processing payments and account activities, approving loans up to lending limits, completing loan closings, and marketing branch products/services to achieve monthly goals, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and building customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 years consumer finance or related experience
- Cash handling
- computer skills
- customer service skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications
