The Loan Consultant I role focuses on delivering a top-tier customer experience while offering personal loan solutions and driving business growth through sales, loan extensions, and merchant referrals. Key duties include greeting and assisting customers in person or by phone, handling verifications (credit and employment), processing payments, making loan recommendations and closings, managing account activity on collections, preparing reports and documentation, operating cash drawer, and marketing branch products and services. Strong emphasis on cash handling, Microsoft Office skills (Windows, Excel, Word), and effective communication; candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED and 0-2 years of consumer finance or related experience; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
