Job Summary
Customer Service Representative acts as a liaison between manufacturing operations and the customer to ensure accurate order processing, communication, and delivery coordination; supports daily customer service activities, maintains critical system data, and collaborates with production, shipping, and internal teams to support customer satisfaction and operational efficiency; duties include processing orders, maintaining records, coordinating shipments, generating billing documentation, handling ERP/MRP data and EDI transactions, setting up customers/items/systems, maintaining data accuracy, and facilitating issue resolution; requires high school diploma or GED and strong communication/organizational skills, with 2+ years of related experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in business management or accounting preferred
- Two or more years of customer service, manufacturing office, purchasing, or inventory management experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Typing proficiency and accurate data entry skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP/MRP systems
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
