Job Summary
Research and answer calls from clients, underwriters, and third parties regarding insurance coverage, risk management, and policy changes. Process claims and billing inquiries while providing quotes for existing clients or line replacements. Foster relationships with insurance companies and underwriters, and report any potential errors, omissions claims, or regulatory complaints immediately to management. Maintain positive working relationships with all staff and customers while adhering to company policies and safety practices. Requires a Property and Casualty License and two years of agency servicing experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience and knowledge
- Two years successful servicing experience with independent agency (or equivalent)
- Property and Casualty License
- Working knowledge of insurance agency operations, claims handling, coverages, rates, markets, and applicable insurance laws/codes
- Thorough knowledge of all personal lines insurance products especially those represented through HomeServices Insurance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven automation, time management, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management techniques
