Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative at Daikin Comfort Technologies, you will engage with prospective and established customers through various channels including face-to-face, phone, email, and fax to understand their needs and facilitate a smooth sales process. Your role involves executing sales functions such as order processing, providing product and technical information, managing warranties and returns, and ensuring timely delivery by coordinating with manufacturing and distribution. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in sales and the HVAC industry, possess excellent customer service skills, effective communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records, preparing reports, and actively communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 6 years of progressive sales experience
- 3 plus years in the HVAC industry
- Some knowledge of HVAC equipment/products is required
- General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as working knowledge of data base applications
- Effective and high-quality Customer Service/Relationship management skills via walk-ins, phone, and email
- Good phone etiquette and e-mail etiquette
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective organizational skills and time management skills including ability to prioritize and multi-task
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees
- Ability to understand and follow procedures, work instructions, and company policies
