Job Summary
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, inventory availability, and shipping status. Process orders accurately via phone and email, prepare competitive quotations, and enter sales information into company systems. Source products meeting specific customer specifications and collaborate with outside sales to support account growth. Verify order accuracy before processing, maintain organized records, and assist with inventory inquiries while performing occasional warehouse duties involving lifting up to 30 pounds. This onsite role in Tualatin, Oregon, requires full-time attendance Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must have previous inside sales or customer service experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous inside sales or customer service experience
- Strong data entry and computer proficiency
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work onsite in Tualatin, Oregon
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when required

Desired Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience within metalworking, industrial distribution, or industrial supply
- Experience supporting MROP products and industrial customers
- Experience using Profit 21 (P21) ERP software
- Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment processes
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset
- Experience supporting outside sales representatives
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships through outstanding service
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or distribution customers is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with warehouse and outside sales teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Experience supporting industrial supply, manufacturing, or metalworking customers
- Experience using Profit 21 (P21) or similar ERP systems
- Strong inside sales and customer account management experience
- Knowledge of MROP products and industrial distribution
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Stable employment history demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and long-term career progression
