Job Summary
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE responsible for entering and managing orders to ensure timely and accurate orders are delivered and customers are satisfied. Primary duties include 50% Sales Order Management activities: taking customer orders via call or email, order creation, reconfirmation, delivery and shipment creation, verifying product availability, managing changes to orders, and communicating impacts; coordinating with inside/outside sales and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Additional duties include coordinating with Fulfillment and Customer Service Manager to obtain materials or alternatives, creating account setup details (credit, logistics, products/SKUs), generating internal and external reports to monitor order status and gaps, and opening/processing customer complaints (price, quality, logistics) with follow-up. The role supports a specific product line or group of customers with responsibilities spanning mill and logistics operations, forecast planning, inventory management concepts, shipping, and customer service objectives. Qualifications emphasize data entry, MS Office proficiency, and strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications
- 2 or 4 year degree or 1 -3 year of experience in office or related type of environment
