Job Summary
Customer Service Representative responsible for delivering exceptional service in a retail environment. Responsibilities include operating the POS cash register and fuel console, processing various payment types, performing sales transactions accurately, handling alcohol/tobacco/lottery sales per policy, verifying identifications, participating in promotions, and executing suggestive selling to meet sales goals. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with city, county, and federal regulations while providing a friendly environment for customers and employees. Additional duties include preparing hot food items, stocking and rotating perishable products, cleaning workspaces and equipment, stocking shelves, and assisting as a barista when needed. Night shifts require deep cleaning tasks and ensuring fresh coffee is brewed for the morning rush. Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, English communication, and proficiency with PDI Enterprise POS; must have open availability across district stores and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent computer skills / competency in PDI Enterprise POS
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision
- Basic math skills
- Food Handlers Permit, if required by store/county
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in English
- Have open availability to work all shifts as needed at home store and other stores within district when the need arises
