Job Summary
Operate a multi-line phone system and deliver accurate messages; take travel arrangements for internal employees; answer inquiries and provide information about activities and departments; assist with locating offices and employees; adhere to policies including drug and alcohol rules; maintain organization and accuracy in handling communications and office tasks; require high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of experience, typing speed targets, and proficiency in MS Office; must have a valid driver’s license and strong customer-service orientation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- one or two years’ experience
- Type at 35 wpm with an error of 1/100 keystrokes; goal to be 80 wpm and 1/500 errors per keystrokes
- Be highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task
- Dependable, trustworthy, truthful and credible in the workplace
- Build communal relationships with customers and co-workers
- Exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others
- Computer Skills: MS Office applications
- Customer Service Skills: meets internal and external commitments and responds promptly to employee/manager needs
- Valid driver’s license
