Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
Manage incoming telephone and email enquiries regarding stock availability, orders, and technical queries. Accurately input customer orders into QAD, generate quotations, and process concerns using the Customer Concerns Software for delivery, pricing, and invoicing. Proactively maintain customer order books, expedite orders with Supply Chain and Value Streams, and coordinate airfreight or DHL shipments. Liaise with the Finance team to resolve outstanding invoices and utilize CBS to improve process efficiency. Raise new project leads and action customer requirements through defined channels while completing ad hoc administrative support tasks.

- Excellent customer service ethos developed by working in a customer service industry
- Experience dealing with demanding customers
- Genuine interest in the customer's journey from quote to delivery of product
- Confident in demonstrating outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience of dealing with customer concerns (complaints)
- Proven track record of developing sound working relationships with team members, customers and other functions within an organisation

Desired Qualifications
- Experience of working within a lean environment
- Knowledge/experience of, or interest in, valves - specifically those associated with HVAC services incl. safety valves
- Proven sales experience in a diverse selection of fields
- Experience of working with international customers
- Knowledge and experience of using software packages. (Excel, Word)
