Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative role focuses on delivering world-class order-to-invoice customer satisfaction through entering orders in SAP, confirming shipping details, communicating shipment information, and resolving invoice issues. Responsibilities include auditing orders for availability, updating customers on shipping dates and delays, handling EDI/web-based order changes, assisting Accounts Receivable with invoice discrepancies, acting as the conduit for complaints regarding shipments and products, and negotiating premium freight when needed. The role requires strong communication and Excel proficiency, familiarity with ERP/SAP systems, and the ability to coordinate with production, scheduling, and shipping to prioritize critical orders and manage inventory shortages. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree or certificate
  • Minimum two (2) + years of customer service experience
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills (Orders, change orders, customer issues, etc.)
  • Preferred: Manufacturing-related CSR experience
  • Preferred: Class 8/automotive and/or Plastics product experience
  • Preferred: SAP (or another ERP system such as Oracle or JD Edwards) experience
  • Preferred: Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently
