Job Summary
Customer Service Representative in Operations supports opening and maintaining deposit accounts, processing customer transactions, and assisting with disputes, debit card services, and electronic banking. Responsibilities include account maintenance, new accounts, check reorders, processing wire transfers, Reg E/ACH disputes, verifying customer information, handling teller transactions, cash handling, balancing cash, and promoting bank products through cross-selling. Requires high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills; banking/cash handling experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish skills preferred but not required. In-person, full-time role based in Carlsbad, NM with multiple branch locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous banking, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills including simple percentage calculations
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required
