Job Summary
Greet customers, process sales on cash registers, and operate fuel consoles, lottery machines, and money order terminals. Maintain store cleanliness and equipment safety while managing inventory, restocking merchandise, and rotating stock. Control cash and sales records, report discrepancies to the Store Manager, and document incidents involving injuries, theft, or safety hazards. Perform general housekeeping duties inside and outside the facility, including cleaning parking lots and handling extreme temperatures. Work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends in a retail environment with minimum supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment that may include cash registers or scanners

- Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide)

- Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or outdoors
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist
- Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift
- Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead for objects
- Ability to bend and twist at waist
- Ability to communicate orally
- Ability to operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard
- Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull
- Ability to work alone
- Exposure to occasional noise
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
- May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
- Ability to perform approximately 95% of all work indoors
- Ability to clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage
- Ability to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision
