Job Summary
Provide courteous, professional guest service at Chevron Station locations; perform cash handling and POS transactions accurately; prepare and maintain food and beverages (KKC products) while ensuring food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance; promote store specials and maintain clean, organized retail and food service areas; adhere to safety, security, cash-handling, and loss-prevention procedures; communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, vendors, and management; flexibility to work various hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; must meet state-specific age requirements and obtain required food handling certifications where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and instructions and to communicate with customers/coworkers
- Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Must possess up-to-date food handling certifications as required by law (in specific locations only)
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in California and Oregon; at least 21 in Washington
- Strong attention to detail; ability to exercise judgment; ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in cash handling and POS systems (cash drawer reconciliation)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to report accidents or incidents promptly
- Compliance with safety, security, quality guidelines, and CSI policies
