Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at Chevron Stations Inc. in Ripon, CA (and other US locations) responsible for delivering exceptional guest service at the pump and in-store, handling point-of-sale transactions and cash, promoting store specials, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and upholding CSI safety and loss-prevention policies. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, stand for long periods, and handle duties across retail and foodservice environments, including cooking/food preparation as applicable. Requires English proficiency, consistent attendance, and necessary food handling certifications where required by law; positions may require lifting up to 25 pounds and adherence to local age restrictions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and Job instructions; effective communication with customers and coworkers
- Available to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good judgment and ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in CA/OR and 21+ for WA (as applicable)
