Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at Chevron Stations Inc. Performs guest services, cash handling, and food/service-related tasks at retail stations, ensuring safety, sanitation, and compliance with CSI policies. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing retail and fuel sales via multiple payment methods, maintaining cash drawer and reconciliation, cleaning and stocking shelves, preparing food and beverages, promoting store specials, and following food safety procedures. Requires English proficiency, flexibility to work varied shifts, and food-handling certifications where required. Emphasis on teamwork, safety, and delivering 100% customer focus in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations)
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California and Oregon locations
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in Washington locations
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgement
- Previous cooking/restaurant experience preferred
