Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service in a busy Chevron retail environment. Responsibilities include cashiering and POS transactions, maintaining accurate cash drawers and conducting cashier reconciliations, promoting store specials, ensuring food safety and sanitation per local regulations, handling age-restricted product sales with proper carding, stocking and rotating products, and delivering excellent customer experience while adhering to CSI policies and safety guidelines. Must be able to work a variety of shifts (including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays) and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Prior cooking/restaurant experience and up-to-date food handling certificates in applicable locations are a plus. The role is positioned at multiple CSI/Chevron stations; compensation ranges from $18.25 to $19.25 per hour for part-time shifts, with benefits and relocation not specified.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years in CA and OR or 21 in WA
- Must be proficient in English
- Food handling certificates where required by location
- Ability to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push and move products
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in teams
