Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at Chevron Stations Inc. based in Glendale, CA. Responsibilities include providing exceptional guest service, greeting and thanking customers, conducting accurate and safe point-of-sale transactions, maintaining a cash drawer and performing cashier reconciliation, executing daily station cleaning and sanitation, preparing food and beverages, managing stock and promotion of store specials, and ensuring compliance with safety, security, and food handling guidelines. Requires English proficiency, ability to work varied shifts (including nights and holidays), attention to detail, strong judgment, teamwork, and food handling certifications where required by location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to effectively communicate with customers and/or coworkers on work-related matters.
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgement.
- Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
- Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law (in specific locations only).
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California and Oregon locations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in Washington locations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work Graveyard shift from 10pm to 6am.
