Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at Chevron Stations Inc. located at 12155 Imperial Hwy, Norwalk, CA, with opportunities at CA, OR, and WA stations. Responsibilities include providing exceptional guest service, greeting customers, handling retail and fuel transactions via multiple payment forms, maintaining cash drawer accuracy and secure funds, performing station cleaning, preparing food/beverages, monitoring product levels, promoting store specials, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and following CSI policies, safety, and loss-prevention procedures. Must adhere to English communication requirements, flexible hours (including nights, weekends, holidays), and possess valid location-specific food handling certificates. Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to effectively communicate with customers and/or coworkers on work-related matters.
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgement.
- Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
- Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law (in specific locations only).
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California and Oregon locations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in Washington locations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work Graveyard shift from 10pm to 6am.
