Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service at Chevron Stations, handle point-of-sale transactions and cashier duties, maintain cash drawer and reconcile sales, prepare food and beverages, and ensure food safety and sanitation per county regulations. Follow CSI safety, security, quality guidelines, and loss-prevention procedures; assist vendors and contractors; maintain neat appearance and comply with CSI image standards. Job duties include customer interactions, price checks, stocking shelves, and operating in a fast-paced retail environment; travel is rare and positions include a mix of full/part-time shifts emphasizing customer-service excellence and safety. Must be able to work varied hours, have strong attention to detail, and meet age-based requirements for location-specific roles. No supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions; effective communication with customers and coworkers
- Availability to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Possession of up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations)
- Ability to stand and perform duties for long periods; ability to lift/move products as needed

- Age requirements: CA/Oregon—18+; Washington—21+ for certain shifts and positions
